Our Story — North Cincinnati Plumbing

North Cincinnati Plumbing was built on a straightforward idea: that homeowners in the Cincinnati area deserve a plumber they can actually trust. One who shows up on time, tells them the truth about what needs to be done, charges a fair price, and delivers work they can rely on. Since 2006, that's exactly what we've set out to do — and it's what keeps our customers calling us back.

We started as a small operation serving the neighborhoods of North Cincinnati, and over nearly two decades we've grown through referrals, repeat customers, and a reputation for doing things the right way. We're not a national franchise. We don't have call centers or automated scheduling. When you call North Cincinnati Plumbing, you're talking to local people who care about the community they work in.

How We Got Started

North Cincinnati Plumbing opened its doors in 2006 with a focus on residential plumbing for the northern Cincinnati communities — the kinds of neighborhoods full of homes that have character, history, and often, plumbing that reflects its age. Older houses present unique challenges: galvanized pipes that have exceeded their service life, drain systems that weren't designed for modern fixtures, and water heater setups that haven't been touched in decades.

From the beginning, the company was built around direct communication and honest service. Our customers aren't numbers — they're neighbors. We've worked in the same neighborhoods for years, and many of our clients have trusted us with their homes across multiple service calls, new fixtures, and even full remodeling projects. That kind of long-term trust isn't built through advertising. It's built one job at a time.

Meet the Manager — Nixon Hale

Nixon Hale has called the Cincinnati area home his whole life. He got into plumbing early, learning the trade hands-on and working his way up before taking the lead at North Cincinnati Plumbing. He knows the neighborhoods, the older homes, and the kinds of plumbing issues locals deal with regularly — because he grew up in these same streets.

When customers work with Nixon, they get straightforward service and honest pricing. He shows up on time, explains what needs to be done in plain language, and gets the job done right. His goal is simple: make sure every customer feels taken care of and can trust the work that was done in their home.

Nixon understands that inviting a plumber into your home requires a degree of trust. That's why he holds his team to the same standards he holds himself — clear communication, clean work areas, and repairs that last.

Rooted in the Cincinnati Community

North Cincinnati Plumbing is more than a service business — it's part of the fabric of the communities we work in. Over nearly two decades in the trade, we've built relationships throughout Cincinnati and the surrounding northern neighborhoods. Our plumbers live in the same area, their families attend the same schools, and they shop at the same stores as the customers they serve.

That community connection matters to us. It means we have a real stake in doing right by every customer. A bad job doesn't just mean a lost customer — in a close-knit community, it means losing trust in the neighborhood. That's not something we're willing to risk, which is why we put the same care into a minor faucet repair as we do into a major plumbing renovation.

We're proud to have served Cincinnati-area homeowners through all the seasons Ohio throws at us — brutal winters that freeze pipes, wet springs that stress drain systems, and everything in between. If you're a new resident in the area or a longtime neighbor looking for a plumber you can rely on, we'd be glad to add you to our list of satisfied customers. Reach out and introduce yourself.
